More than 500,000 Afghan refugees have been forcefully deported from Iran and Pakistan in recent weeks — many without warning, resources, or even time to gather their belongings. Families are arriving at the Afghan border with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Women, children, and the elderly are especially vulnerable, facing severe hunger, exhaustion, extreme hot temperature, dust, thirst, , and a complete lack of shelter, food, and medical care.
This is not just a crisis — it is a human tragedy unfolding before our eyes.
These families are not numbers. They are mothers holding crying children, elders with no strength left to walk, youth who have lost all hope. And yet, despite their suffering, they carry the silent plea for compassion, dignity, and support.
But we can help.
Because "A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal," Steve Maraboli
